Aisling Bea
Aisling is a well-known Irish comedian that has been in the business for some time. Born in Kildare, Ireland on 16th March 1984. Bea was on the show with Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling O'Sullivan, better known by her stage title Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984) is an Irish actress, writer and stand-up comic. After appearing in bit parts in a variety of Irish and British television shows since 2009 Bea was able to begin her stand-up comedian in 2011. From 2012 on, Bea was appearing on sitcoms or sketch comedy. In 2012, she began appearing in panel shows following the win of an award from in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. In 2016 and 2017 she was the team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. She is also an actress on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born to Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she is the mother of one sister called Sinead. The only ever female winner of So You Think You're Funny. Bea is her name in honour of her deceased father. Aisling O'Sullivan, whose real name is as Cliodhnadh Aisling was born in Kildare town, which is located in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who took his own life when she was just three. Bea didn't learn how her father died until after she was thirteen. Bea was her stage name. Bea was a tribute for her father. She published an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017 about her experiences of suicide. Bea as well as her sister Sinead, were raised by Helen Moloney (n e Moloney), a former jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. Her parents were obsessed by horses and racing. Bea started out as tourist guides at Irish National Stud. But she quickly realized that her love was performing and not racing.
